At For The First our mission is to provide unwavering support to First Responders and their families. To achieve this, we’ve established the For The First Sponsor Program.
Collecting Essential Information: Your Nomination
When you fill out the sponsorship application, you have the opportunity to nominate yourself or an individual you believe is deserving of our support. We gather crucial information to understand the nominee’s unique circumstances and specific needs, and then provide support in any capacity necessary at no expense to the sponsor or their family.
Flexibility for Urgent Assistance: A For-Profit Model
Operating as a for-profit company grants us greater freedom and flexibility compared to our non-profit counterparts. This flexibility enables us to provide urgent resources and funding to First Responders and their families swiftly and efficiently.
Comprehensive Assistance: What We Offer
We recognize that the challenges faced by our First Responders and their families can be diverse. Our sponsorship covers a broad spectrum of assistance, including but not limited to:
- Mental Health Assistance and Resources: Access to counseling, support networks, and mental health resources to help navigate the emotional toll of their service. Because we are a small but growing company, we do not have the ability to provide these services in house. This means we look to one of our many partners in this field and help direct our sponsors to whomever is more regionally appropriate. We stand by our sponsors throughout the entire process to ensure they receive the care and support they require while.
- Medical Bill Assistance: Relief from the burden of medical expenses incurred during the course of their duties or due to other health-related challenges for them and their family members.
- General Financial Assistance: Financial support to address various needs, from unexpected expenses to daily essentials.
- Personal Transportation Assistance: Assistance in maintaining essential personal transportation.
- Housing Assistance: Support to ensure access to stable and safe housing.
- Drug and Alcohol Abuse Assistance and Resources: Guidance and resources for those battling addiction. Again, because we are still small we will be working alongside one of our many partners to provide this support to our sponsors.
- Tax Resources and Assistance: Help with navigating the complexities of tax matters to ensure financial well-being.
We provide these services and assistance based on the needs of the sponsored individual and or family. Because of the sensitivity and complexity some of these support services are inherently accompanied by, we work with only the most reputable mental health and addiction professionals and organizations in the nation.
Transparency and Accountability: Our Commitment
As a part of our commitment to transparency and accountability, we strive to ensure that every sponsorship application is processed with the utmost care. Your nomination will be reviewed by our dedicated team to determine interview schedules, and ultimately the extent of assistance required. Additionally, all revenue that is allocated to the sponsor program for the month assistance in provided will be announced publicly on our social media accounts on the first of every month.
Important Note: Ongoing Investigations
Please be aware that if a nominee is currently under internal, state, local, or federal investigation due to an incident related to a fatality that took place while they were on duty, we may not be able to consider the application for sponsorship until the investigation has concluded. However, you are still welcome to apply or nominate an individual during this period. We will work with them and any other necessary employers or investigative agencies to identify an appropriate time to revisit their sponsorship application once the investigation has been resolved. Your involvement in our mission is essential. By submitting an Individual/First Responder Sponsorship Application, you’re helping us make a meaningful difference in the lives of our First Responders and their families.

At For The First, we recognize that the families of First Responders are an integral part of the community’s support system. To extend our commitment, we have established the First Family Sponsorship Application, a platform designed to identify and assist the families who stand by our First Responders.
Collecting Essential Information: Your Nomination
When you complete and submit the sponsorship application, you have the opportunity to nominate a First Responder family or your own. We gather critical information to understand the family’s unique circumstances and specific needs.

Our sponsorship for First Responder families encompasses a wide range of assistance, including but not limited to:
- Mental Health Assistance and Resources: Access to counseling, support networks, and mental health resources to help navigate the emotional toll of their service. This means we look to one of our many partners in this field and help direct our sponsors to whomever is more regionally appropriate. We stand by our sponsors throughout the entire process to ensure they receive the care and support they require while.
- Family Medical Service & Bill Assistance: If a family member is living with complex medical diagnoses, and requires unique care day to day we can provide resource consultation, and care funding for the family. Our goal is to provide relief from the burden of medical expenses incurred during the course of their duties or due to other health-related challenges.
- General Financial Assistance: Financial support to address various needs, from unexpected expenses to daily essentials.
- Personal Transportation Assistance: Assistance in maintaining essential personal transportation.
- Housing Assistance: Support to ensure access to stable and safe housing for the entire family.
- Drug and Alcohol Abuse Assistance and Resources: Guidance and resources for those battling addiction. As we are still a small company, we will be providing these services alongside one of our trusted partners.
- Tax Resources and Assistance: Help with navigating the complexities of tax matters to ensure financial well-being.
Transparency and Accountability: Our Commitment
As part of our commitment to transparency and accountability, we ensure that every Family Sponsorship Application is processed with the utmost care. Your nomination will be reviewed by our dedicated team to determine when and how to conduct family and reference interviews, and to ultimately determine the extent of assistance required for the family. Additionally, all revenue that is allocated to the sponsor program for the month assistance in provided will be announced publicly on our social media accounts on the first of every month.
